NEWS LETTER JULY 2019
SUMMER SOCIAL Wednesday July 3rd at 6.30pm
We are holding this month’s social in Jo Dudley’s garden in Radnage. There are lots of different features, plants, water, shade and plenty of benches to sit on. The BBC long term forecast for that day is cloudy, middling warm but dry. If it changes its mind and it pours with rain we will end up in the Town Hall. Take care there are some steps and slopes in the garden.
For non-members there will be a charge of £2.50 payable on the evening and we will have a small Tombola and the usual drink and nibbles.
Anyone needing a lift and who cannot find someone to take them please call me on 01491 612368
If you would like directions to Jo’s please contact one of the Committee.
Paul Patton gave us a talk ‘Growing for the Kitchen’. We heard all about different vegetables including rather exotic ones, but there was little on how to actually grown them which may have been a bit disappointing for some people.
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our coach trip to Bourton House Garden on Thursday 11 July as we did not get enough people signing up to make it viable financially. However, Jo Dudley is going anyway in her car and will drive anyone who wants to accompany her. She is also arranging drivers and lifts for others who want to go. So if you’d like to go by car give her a call Mobile: 07710 484434, Phone: 01494 483469
