The talk has slides and we hope some demonstrations. Last Month: Billy Stott gave us an engaging talk about his experiences as a student of horticulture and opening his own nursery. And he bought plants to sell. Raffle, tea and coffee: I am delighted that at our next meeting we will be serving tea and coffee (free) before the meeting, and our Raffle will return, so please bring some cash to buy your ticket/s. Garden Waste Collections return to normal: If you live in Oxfordshire and are signed up for brown bin collections you will be pleased to learn that from this month, November, SODC is going back to normal fortnightly collections. For Watlington the first will be on Tuesday 2nd November. They are supposed to be sending letter out regarding it, but I’ve not received one. Membership: Thank you to everyone who has already renewed their membership for 2021-22. And a warm welcome to our new members who have signed up, I hope you will enjoy our Club activities.
