Talk by Carolyn Foster
The title of Carolyn’s talk is “The Winter Garden”. She is from the East Berkshire Hardy Plant Society, she is a horticulturalist and hands-on gardener. The topic of her talk is very seasonal, we are about to start clearing spent summer flowers and so advice on how to make the garden look good in winter is very welcome.
Last Month:
Mike Saarfield talked about Growing Citrus in the UK. He was very well informed and as he admitted himself even obsessive about his subject. We learnt about the history and origins of citrus, the types, how to grow them in the UK and deal with any problems.
