LAST MONTH: Catherine Dawson gave us a talk titled Peat Free Gardening. We had all been dreading a rather boring and dry talk, but it was a revelation. Catherine has worked for many years for Melcourt who produce peat free compost of various types. She knew her subject backwards and was a good and informative speaker, we were all delighted. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS: this is a last reminder if you have not paid. Subscription £22.00. Please put you name in the reference so Jacqueline knows who has paid.

GARDEN VISIT We are already starting to think about our garden visits for 2026. As Jo has booked a speaker to talk to us about Kiftsgate in the Cotswolds we planning a visit there (and possibly Hidcote) on Thurs 25th June. As it is quite far we are looking at the possibility of making it a coach visit which would cost, with entrance fee, about £40.00. At our meeting I will be asking for a show of hands to see how people fell about the cost. PLANT TABLE There will be no plant table this month as our speaker is bringing bulbs to sell.
